What are the refund policies for this project?

We can refund you within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. After that, we have a policy of no questions asked, though that’s minus Kickstarter and payment processing fees (10% - which we can’t get back from them after 14 days) until the pledge manager deadline. After the deadline, we may, at our sole discretion, refund and/or provide credit against future Kickstarter campaigns, in whole or in part (less 17.5% for expenses), upon request. This Kickstarter refund policy is subject to change without notice, and may be revised from time to time.

When can I pay for shipping?

We will be charging shipping via our pledge manager. The Pledge Manager normally becomes live about 2-3 months after the campaign ends.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By pledging to this project, you acknowledge that the final look, materials and content of the rewards (and the project) are subject to change and may differ substantially from what is presented while the Kickstarter project was active.

If you do not log in to the Pledge Manager and confirm your pledge in that system within 8 weeks of our notification via email to confirm your pledge, you agree that we have fulfilled our obligations to you in full for payment or donations received. However, we may, at our discretion, refund your pledge if you contact us after the 8 week window has elapsed. Unconfirmed pledges make it difficult for us to plan production and logistics, and in the past have led to project delays. For this project we do not intend to allow this to happen, which may mean if you confirm your pledge too late, exclusive items may not be produced in sufficient quantity for your pledge.

If you confirm your pledge within 8 weeks of our notification via email, you agree that our responsibility to you is to ship your order as entered into our pledge manager system, that title and risk passes to you upon delivery to a common carrier for such shipment, and you are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods. We regret we are unable to ship to PO Boxes.

All backers that wish to receive a reward for this campaign must make sure to confirm their order by the Pledge Manager deadline. We will announce the date for this once the Pledge Manager becomes live. Unconfirmed pledges (with or without rewards) will be treated as donations once the Pledge Manager deadline has passed. We may, at our sole discretion, refund and/or provide credit against future Kickstarter campaigns, in whole or in part (less expenses), upon request.

We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time, for any or no reason, and will refund to you payments received from you, excluding Kickstarter fees and credit card processing fees (3rd party fees). We shall refund 3rd party fees as well if we cancel your order after you have confirmed your pledge, or if the order is cancelled by us before the Pledge Manager deadline. Such refunds will be made as set out in our Refund Policy.

Limitation of liability: CMON’s liability to you shall be restricted, to the extent allowable by law, to the amount received directly from you by CMON.

If you do not accept these terms please do not pledge on this project, but instead wait for the retail release. To make sure you have the best gaming experience, all CMON products included in this campaign are warrantied against manufacturing defects for 6 months from the date of delivery, as set by the submission of tracking number (proof of purchase required). Make sure to open all boxes upon receival, so if you see something is missing or broken, our customer service team will work hard to get you replacement parts and make things right. Note: Warranty does not cover accidental damage, theft, loss, or any other event that is not a manufacturing defect.
